Meet the

If we were chatting in person, I’d offer you a warm hug, a slice of cake (carrot cake for the win) and probably get waaaay too excited hearing about your story. But since we’re not and I haven’t mastered telepathy (yet), here’s a little bit about me.

Open with a clear, confident statement of who you are and what you do. Make it instantly clear what visitors can expect from you, and set an emotional tone. Keep it short, bold, and easy to remember.

Your slightly chaotic Cape Town photographer, golden hour enthusiast and professional third wheel.

Hi, my name is Josephine!

About me

Let's work together →

Use this space to share your mission - what drives you and the impact you want to make. Keep it simple and genuine: what do you believe in, and what do you want clients to feel when they work with you? Add a personal touch by describing how your own life or values shape your approach - this is what makes your story human and relatable.

Then, explain how your personality shows up in your work - are you calm and supportive, bold and energetic, or something in between? This is your chance to let people know not just what you do, but how it feels to work with you.

I'm an adventurer and a lover. I feel things deep, and I believe life is art.

Tell the story of how you got started with your business. What inspired you to start - was it a specific moment, a personal challenge, or a dream you couldn’t ignore? Write it in your own voice, like you’re telling a friend over coffee. Instead of rattling off facts, let your personality shine through so people feel your passion.

Explain how that beginning still influences the way you run your business today. Keep it real, personal, and full of the passion that brought your idea to life.

... but yet, here we are.

You see, I didn't plan on becoming a photographer

So, How did I end up here?
I'm glad you asked.

- Holly & Mike

"It felt like having a friend by our side the whole day"

Explain what makes you different and be specific about your philosophy (candid, authentic, storytelling, stress-free). Show empathy by addressing common worries your clients might have. Do people often feel awkward in front of the camera? Do they worry about timelines, logistics, or not knowing what to do? Call that out, and then reassure them with your approach. Let them know how you make the process easy, fun, and comfortable, and how you’ll guide them every step of the way.

By the end, your readers should feel both excited and at ease, knowing they’re in good hands with you.

Consider me your friend, storyteller and hype woman.

Spoiler: working with me is more fun than you think.
